The Story
On the night a star crossed the skies of Avaris, Princess Brigitte’s life changed forever.
Transformed into a little caramel dog, she begins to see a world far beyond the castle walls.
Through silent forests, cold nights and unexpected encounters, Brigitte embarks on a journey about love, empathy and belonging.

My Inspirations
The real lives behind the magic
Although The Caramel Princess is a work of fiction, many of its emotions were born from real stories, rescues, affection and the animals who transformed my life.
Maria and Mion
My mother inspired the name of Maria Betty Seyfred, the protector who changes Brigitte’s destiny. Beside her, Mion represents the silent tenderness of the animals who accompany us.
